Local Members Initiative Scheme
Between 2002 and 2005 Barry Stamp was County Councillor for Gnosall Division (Stafford). Each year he was given £10,000 which he could recommend to be allocated to support local projects. Below is a list of projects Barry was pleased to support during the financial year 2003/2004.

PCC for St Giles Parish Church, Haughton
Funding towards conversion of church clock to automatic winding mechanism
Campaign for the Protection of Children
Funding for free safety alarms for children in the Gnosall area
Independent Forum for Older Persons
Funding for forum for older people in Gnosall and surrounding area.
Gnosall Surgery Patients' Forum
Funding for information workshops to advise patients about primary care services etc
Gnosall Memorial Village Hall
Funding to refelt part of the flat roof extention on main hall
Adbaston Community Group
Funding towards the provision of lighting alongside path to the Jubilee Room
Morton Bus Shelter Appeal
To provide a bus shelter for the residents of Morton
Local Agenda 21 Gnosall Branch
Funding towards the purchase of fruit trees and training of volunteers in connection with the establishment of a community orchard
St Lawrence CE Primary School Gnosall
Funding towards the refurbishment of changing rooms serving the school/community used swimming pool
* due to the delay in getting the community orchard project under way this grant has been carried over until next financial year (2004 - 2005)
