Haughton To Loose Late Night Bus Service |
It's bad news for
local residents who use the 481 bus service from Gnosall and
Haughton to either Stafford or Telford, as Arriva have just announced
they are to cut the last service in each direction on week day
evenings. This will mean local residents who wish to spend a
night out in either Stafford or Telford will have  to
return early, as the last bus will now be at around 10pm. Barry
Stamp is furious this cut in the level of service will mean many
people will be forced to take their car into town or instead
pay for a taxi home. Barry has written to the County Council's
Passenger Transport Section urging them to subsidise this late
night service. |
